Dr Michael de Manincor

Director and Senior Lecturer at The Yoga Institute, BA (Hons), Grad Dip Ed, M Psych, PhD

Michael is passionate about educating the community on the benefits of quality yoga, and supporting the highest professional standards for yoga teachers. Michael has completed a PhD in Health Science, in the area of Yoga and mental health.


Rosie Caunt

Senior Yoga Teacher. Teacher Trainer. Yoga Therapist. Palliative Care Support. Bachelor of Education Honors.

For over 25 years, Rosie has been a passionate and integral part of yoga as both a yoga instructor teacher and private practitioner. Rosie’s specialty is Yoga Therapy, helping people to cope, manage and thrive amidst some of life’s more pressing challenges.



Ute Koehler

Yoga Teacher, Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching, Yoga Australia Member 

My passion for Yoga started when I was in my teens. I very soon developed a love for this ancient practice. As a yoga teacher, my main aim is to help others to find physical and mental health, as well as happiness and peace through this healing practice.


Laurin Vassella 

B AppSc (Exercise Physiology, Pre-Med), Yoga Teacher, Yoga Studio Owner in Killara, NSW

For over 20 years Laurin has merged her knowledge of Exercise Physiology with the healing art of Yoga. Starting as an Exercise Physiologist in a Rehabilitation Hospital in 2003 she then switched to teaching Yoga full time in 2011 and now runs a Yoga Studio in Killara.

The Yoga Institute acknowledges the Cammeraygal people of the Eora nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our centre is based.
