Lisa Bidgood

As an Occupational Therapist working in the area of neurology for over a decade, it was a chance discussion with one of her patients that changed the course of her life! Embarking on a journey to combine her love of yoga and rehabilitation she enrolled in a 200-hour yoga teacher certification (specifically to teach students who have a neurological impairment). The past few years has seen her study extensively in the area of yoga for trauma and disability in the USA.

A typical class with Lisa is a mindful journey filled with a fusion of humour, non-judgmental teaching style, compassion-centered philosophy and peaceful energy.

Lisa currently teaches classes for those with a disability at several NSW Health Centres and within the Department of Defence. She is on the Yoga Therapy Training faculty at The Yoga Institute, specialising in Yoga for Neurological Impairment.
