Bronwyn fell in love with practising yoga postures about 12 years ago before going on to develop a regular meditation practice.
She completed the Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training at the Yoga Institute and she has also trained with AG Mohan and Indra Mohan. Inspired by the teachings and a desire to share what she finds so valuable about yoga, Bronwyn made the decision to leave her career as a lawyer to become a full time yoga teacher.
Bronwyn teaches the Tuesday morning class which is a suitable for beginners as well as more experienced students. In this class Bronwyn offers students the time and space to connect with their breath and to consciously be with themselves. Students are taught how to practice and modify classical postures to not only ease the body but also to develop strength, spinal mobility, flexibility, balance and clarity of mind. Towards the end of the class students are guided through a conscious relaxation and given the opportunity to practice various pranayama (breathing) and meditation techniques.
Bronwyn also teaches private yoga classes, which she finds particularly enjoyable and rewarding. Private classes offer students the opportunity to address any specific health concerns and to develop a personal home practice, which is the optimal way to practice yoga.
